    As every year the US Open of surfing took place in Huntington Beach, California. Once again thousands of people came to watch the battle for the 100.000$ prize money. Red Bull athlete Gavin Gillette was competing, but in the end Brett Simpson became the 2010 champion. Red Bull girl Carissa Moore won the girls competition.
