- About this Videos
- Like a freak dust storm, the Red Bull Studio Live stage at Oppikoppi came in like a tornado, swept up several thousand eager revellers in a swirling mass of sonic abandon, and dropped everyone down into the electronic music equivalent of Oz. It was all in there: the addictive and lucrative South African house sound in form of the prolific prodigy Culoe De Song and his contemporaries such as Red Bull Music Academy participants Sisco and Julian Gomez. Hard as nails, and utterly exhilarating electro bashed out by the likes of Haezer, Grave Danger and Musical Chairs. Gnarly, depth of the ocean Dubstep shaken and stirred through the soundsystem by Queen Funafuji, King Audiophile 021 and the princes Biscope. Deep, ear licking downtempo and dub from live acts like Mr. Sakitumi and 7ft. Soundsystem.
