- About this Video
- People Under The Stairs (P.U.T.S.) are an underground hip hop group from Los Angeles, California, comprising two MCs, Thes One and Double K. The group has released seven albums since their formation in 1997.P.U.T.S. employs a rap style similar to that of A Tribe Called Quest, and fellow Los Angeles groups Jurassic 5, and The Pharcyde.[citation needed] They favor more traditional forms of DJing.[citation needed] They employ the method of searching Record shops for rare funk and soul records, from which they can find a break or beat that can be looped or stored on an MPC (Musical Production Center).[citation needed]
