Recently one of the most fascinating and creative projects took place and shape in the Studio this year. The Dean Rodney Singers aims to bring a fantasy world of mysterious creatures and superheroes who live in an alternate universe to life by working with seventy-two band members made up of musicians, singers and dancers from seven countries across the world including Japan, China, Germany, Brazil, Croatia, UK and obviously South Africa (at the Red Bull Studio). Working together online, the global band will create dynamic new music, dance and video using cutting edge web technology and iPads. Most significantly, they will be creating twenty-three songs for the project, which will create a space where disabled and non-disabled bands members can collaborate together to make the songs come to life.
