The Red Bull F1 Showcar takes Formula One to cities all over the world. Next stop: Cape Town.

When Red Bull Racing was formed back in 2005, a separate squad was established to take a full-spec Formula One car around the globe to give international audiences a taste of F1. From Panama to Russia, from Japan to Jamaica, the team’s drivers have been providing the fastest street entertainment on the planet ever since.

For the first time in South African Formula One history, the Red Bull Racing F1 Team will make its way down to Cape Town on the 27th March 2011. It’s a chance for F1 fans in the Mother City to get up very close to an F1 car doing what it’s made for. Experience an exhilarating day of F1 speed and sound at the Killarney Motor Racing Complex.

Driving the Formula One car in Cape Town on Sunday 27 March is Swiss native, Neel Jani, who started his racing career at the age of 12 and has since joined Red Bull Racing as an F1 test driver assisting Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber to qualify P1 and P2 at the Melbourne GP in 2010.
