Almost a hundred international and local tattoo artists are making their way to the Cape Town International Tattoo Convention - Southern Ink Xposure.
The weekend-long ink-fest kicks off on on 27 January at the Pavilion Conference Centre. With 70 booths and 20 vendours there’s no reason to leave without getting some work done by some of the top names in the game.
Burlesque dancers, acrobatic displays, sword-swallowing, live music and a putt-putt course will keep those waiting in line entertained. Bands like Shadowclub, aKING, Dead Lucky, The Pits, The Great Apes, Wolftown, and Them Tornados will keep the crowd on their feet in the evenings.
Tickets are available from Computicket at R 250 for a weekend pass, or R 100 for a day. You can also get the tickets from tattoo parlours like Wildfire Tattoos (Long Street & Canal Walk); Metal Machine (city); Sins of Style (city); Mob Inc Tattoo Bistro (Sea Point); Body Architects (Claremont).
