X-Fighters Jams Pretoria kicks off tomorrow at Hatfield Square from 9pm. Featuring FMX champion, Nick de Wit, as well as some of the best riders the country has to offer, this year's event is set to be a mind-blowing experience.
After a successful run in Durban last weekend, de Wit and the other riders are gearing up to take on Hatfield Square. De Wit took to his blog recently to talk about the Durban event.
"The show started off with Glen Dell flying over in his aerobatic plane, and did a good job to get all 4000 spectators in the mood for what was up next," de Wit said of the Durban event. "We came out and exploded into action with a warmup session and then straight into the show. We showed the spectators some of the older tricks in the sport with the evolution of FMX and then after that section we really let loose."
The South African leg of the Red Bull X-Fighters Jams kicked off on the beaches of Durban on 9 July and will run throughout the country, finishing up in Bloemfontein on 13 August. For more information, see dates and venues below.
