What is it?

Some believe in the holy trinity of guitar, bass and drums; others look for their salvation in soul. At Red Bull Soundclash, two bands from opposing genres will meet in a direct battle against each other. For one evening, two bands from opposite camps will perform head to head to win the favour of the crowd.

Two bands, two stages …. one night. The gloves are coming off for the Red Bull Soundclash.

JHB's Carlton Sky Rink will host a true battle of the bands (old skool style) with Tumi & the Volume taking on The Dirty Skirts, it will go down as a fight night to be remembered - 22 August 2009!

This will be the musical heavy weight clash of the year where both parties will come in with the gloves off swinging, looking to take the title and be crowned the champions of the Red Bull Soundclash.
