Roland Albertson writes and performs laid-back melodic surf-rock. Ironically he and his band live in Joburg far from SA's shores, but took a necessary break from the hectic City of Gold toward the end of last year to come down to sunny iKapa. While in town, he took the opportunity of recording at the Studio. Take a listen to these two songs which sum up his sun-soaked sound:
