Red Bull BC One is the world’s foremost 1 on 1 B Boy Battle, pitting the skills and style of the globes 16 most respected and dynamic breakdancers.

The contest, which runs on a knock-out format, sees b–boys navigate their way through 4 intense rounds as they go head-to-head, using technique, character and inventive moves to gain breakdancing’s highest honours.

Previously hosted in Switzerland, Germany and Brazil, Red Bull BC One finally hits the shores of South Africa. The search for the nation’s top B-Boy is now on – who will represent our country at the world’s most esteemed breakdancing challenge?

The top 16 B-Boys in South Africa are ready to to compete at the National Qualifier on 9 June!

The Red Bull BC One National Qualifier involves 16 selected participants who will battle it out head to head in an elimination round format, as they vie for the elusive spot in the 2007 Red Bull BC One final.

The Qualifier Contest format will consist of 4 Rounds:

1st Round: 16 dancers (head to head)

2nd Round : 8 dancers (head to head)

Semi Final (head to head)

Final (head to head)

There can only be One winner - the B-Boy who has the moves, style and character at the end of the day, will represent SA in the final.

The South African National Qualifier will be held at The Old Match Factory in Observatory in Cape Town on June 9. Doors open at 5pm,tickets cost R20 as there is limited space available so get there early.
