B-Boy star-studded judging panel to elect a single victor amongst all Middle East and Africa region winners
Get ready to be blown away by the International breaking aces Cico, Roxrite and Ronnie, the guests of honor at the Red Bull BC One regional contest taking place in Marrakesh, Morocco on the 14th of September. The competition will be held at the “Theâtre Royal De Marrakesh” (Royal Theatre of Marrakesh) where B-Boy champions will nominate the cream of the crop amongst all winners of the Red Bull BC One Cyphers’ in the region to the world’s final round in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Of course these luminaries have their own long standing experience and sloop of achievements that make them superlative judges in breaking. B-Boy Cico the 28 year old Italian B-Boy 1st stole the spotlights in 1999, when he was awarded best single dancer in “Battle of the Year National” contest. A year later, B-Boy Ronnie, the 29-year old American, won the 1st place at the “Concrete Soul” competition. In 2004, B-Boy Roxrite, the 30 year old American was awarded 1st place in “B- Boy Masters Pro Am back” competition.
B-Boy Roxrite the last to kick off the beats of all three champs, was the prizewinner for 2011’s Red Bull BC One. It’s not only these mavens’ reputation that makes them the ideal candidates for evaluators for this exhilarating event at the “Theâtre Royal De Marrakesh”; it is endless efforts that they have shed for this free style art form across the years.
Since its founding in 2004, the Red Bull BC One has become the quintessential universal breaking competition. While it was initially geared towards established B-Boys, in 2011, the challenge was thrown open to all and aspiring dancers were also given chance to compete through a multi-layered global qualification phase. In fact, it is thanks to this pioneering initiative that Red Bull BC One was voted ‘Best B-Boy Event’ at the World of Dance Awards 2011.
